How did the
Reitoria Group come about?

The Reitoria Group is somewhat recent, having been created at the end of 2021. However, the journey began in November 2013 with the opening of the group's first restaurant, Reitoria in downtown Porto, followed by RT Focaccias in Mercado do Bom Sucesso (February 2015), RT Focaccias Norte Shopping (August 2019), Habitat (July 2020). During the pandemic, we created the Your Chef brand, which served hundreds of home-cooked meals during the various lockdowns, but which is currently “in the drawer” waiting to be drawer” waiting to be given a raison d'être. In February 2022, Tra La Pasta Fresca opens in the Bom Sucesso market and the latest project, Tra La Pasta Fresca - Rio, on the banks of the River Douro.

e conceptualizou o Reitoria

As a restaurant in the first phase, as a group in the last.

From an early age, Frederico Azevedo was passionate about food, cooking and eating. Soccer also accompanied this great passion. When the time came to decide on a professional career, the choice was obvious: hotel management, always with soccer in between! He had an excellent education at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, where he opened his mind to other cultures and, of course, absorbed some of the Swiss discipline and rigors that are so important in this area.

The Reitoria Group was created with the aim of bringing together all the brands we have been creating, defining a group culture and corporate identity, which is communicated internally and externally. The Reitoria Group is young, professional and creative. We don't just serve meals, we are an honest and differentiated service provider, regardless of the market segment in which the restaurant group in Porto operates.
